I just got my KK Road Machine a couple of days ago, and have ridden it both days since.

My first experience with just riding the trainer was the day before yesterday just watching a free trial video I found online, and my Garmin 800 control head. The experience was ok.

Yesterday did my first training ride using Trainer Road and a video from The Sufferfest.

I also used virtual power, using my existing garmin speed/cadence sensor, Garmin HRM, and a suunto Ant+ movestick mini. I've never ridden another trainer, or used any other software or cycling videos, so I can't help with comparisons there.

The Trainer Road part of the set up, and the Ant+ connection was pretty simple. I had a little trouble with the video portion taking a while to load due to my older model PC. But once, it's one deck, it works well.

The video lasted an hour, and to be honest, I really enjoyed the workout. I was shocked how fast the hour went by. I really liked overlaying the trainer road dashboard on top of the Sufferfest video. It's really pretty interactive once it's all linked together.

I was not sure if I was going to get into the trainer thing or not, seeing how many people don't like it. And I was neutral after having ridden the trainer while simply watching a video.

But after working out to the whole package above, I think I'm going to like it. I'm actually looking forward to it today.
