Were I the OP, I would replace the broken rear, obviously. However, the front will, perhaps and suddenly, follow the example of many others. It will, sooner or later, crack and, if you are unlucky...

An excellent replacement transmission would be the Suntour Cyclone, perhaps coupled up with Suntour Barcons. Now you are talking works and looks great...







If the Suntour stuff strikes an interest, let me know. I have one set left, Barcons or Power Shifters and all.
