The Nano Shot Plus is a good tough light. I used in the rain that preceded Hurricane Sandy and since then without difficulties. If I upgrade it will probably be to the Volt 1200. From what I've read the Volt's medium beam is more or less equal to the bright beam on the Shot Plus, but with a five hour duration instead of an hour and a half. Not a big issue for me, but I may have to move further out from work than I am now.
