Or getting an appropriate frame. Haha, a racing SL4 setup as cruiser. To each their own, it's his money to spend and enjoy. I'd put him on a Salsa bike for 1/3 of the cost and probably more comfortable. But vanity trumps all.

Why bother since you know anyone who knows bikes would know they are posers. No one cares that you didn't buy name brand wheels, plenty of people race with factory direct carbon wheels. They just laugh when you try to pass them off as namebrand.

Why not have fun with it instead? Create your own logo, you can find people who will create them for you cheap. Plaster 2kredc5 on them!

Masi Evos are lame. They look like Chinese factory direct open frames rebranded. Wouldn't be surprised that Masi just went to some factory and said, we want carbon racing frames, make us one. Considering it's owned by Haro, BMX bike company, wouldn't surprise me at all. They look like generic open frames from 2010. Even if Haro showed me a lab and with some engineers, I wouldn't believe Masi/Haro had any part in designing their Evos.
