I work overnight shifts at a hospital, got off work at 0730, rode 13.5 miles to a ferry terminal, rode another 19.3 miles to a high school pool to take a kayaking roll class, rode another 15.1 miles back to the ferry terminal, and then finally another 4.7 miles to home.
Does this count as "commuting"?
Thanks!
I say count it. It doesn't have to be just to work and back. You used your bike instead of a car to get to your kayaking class, count it!. I have counted times that I rode to meet up for a group run, or to return a video rental, etc. However, i do not count the weekend ride where I just get out for a ride.
