I say count it. It doesn't have to be just to work and back. You used your bike instead of a car to get to your kayaking class, count it!. I have counted times that I rode to meet up for a group run, or to return a video rental, etc. However, i do not count the weekend ride where I just get out for a ride.

Thanks folks! I was leaning that way, but it felt a little like I was somehow "cheating" because it was over 50 miles, and I didn't finally make it home until over 14 hours after I left work!
I'll total up my mileage for the week in a minute and get the thread back on track!
