This morning was cold by Vancouver standards. I measured-4.7°C on my thermometer. For me being raised in upstate NY that is a perfect winter high.

I had a driver and passenger gawking at me. I did have to stop and change gloves since my fall gloves weren't cutting it. Other than that the only change in attire I have made since July is shoe covers and a merino base layer this morning.

I keep my bike outdoors and my lock was frozen though. Hadn't thought of that one yet this year.

My ride was great. I chatted with a nice woman for a few km. Other than that the scenery was great with the clear air.

Winter is my favorite season.

Maintenance note: put on new brake pads. Misadjusted the rears. Almost no lever pull and they aren't dragging. Now I need to loosen the cable.
