the "A" logo on the spoke heads is for Alpina Raggi.
no closeup photos as yet of pedals. they look like they are possibly Sheffield.
is bb spindle hollow all the way through or at the ends only?
a plausible brake lever would be a Balilla Corsa 61 with the early metal quick release.
looking forward to the next update.
best wishes with the respray!

You are very informative, I was wondering for those spokes for a while.
BB spindle is hollow all the way. To be honest the one that bike came with cracked and I was lucky enough to find the same one with just 2mm more offset to the chain ring side.
This was what completed the crank set since it has been a real pain in the ass for me.
Right cotter pin was HAMMERED flat both ends. I scrapped 5 drills trying to free it.
Chain rings were so close to chain stays that you could feel it touching. Finding and fitting new cotter pins found me machining the once I could find to 9mm since all available options were 10+mm.
About the brakes - recently a guy on the ebay was selling a NOS Balilla Corsa '59, so I could get any idea of the absolute correct ones. Pics bellow.
Not going for it anyways. Those Balilla levers are damn rare and since I got my calipers for about 12.5 euro I am quite pleased.
Pedals, as I investigated further, seems to be old ХВЗ pedals which makes sense considering the bike's past.
Respray gonna be tricky
