Hey, to each his own. But in all my years of commuting I've never once wished I'd had a horn on my bike and I can't think of an instance where all things considered using one would have enhanced my safety when dealing with automobile traffic.

Agree on both counts. All I have on my bikes are the little bells to alert pedestrian traffic on MUPs. But one time I was about to enter an intersection on a green light when a car shot through in front of me on a red. Just then a cyclist came up from behind and let loose with his Airzound and it was kind of neat to see the motorist jump a bit in his seat.
