My handle represents my contempt for the "rat race" and consumer culture. It started off as an inside joke between me and my long time girlfriend (we don't believe in marriage, either) many years ago. So a 'cobra bite' is anything that rebels against participating in the established norm, like riding a bike vs. driving...though admittedly my bike collection could be considered unnecessary materialism.
