It succeeded. And went for some crazy rides in the process. Now it is semi retired. My good farmer's market bike and not a bad off road machine. It will always have that sweet Peter Mooney steering. At 35 years and 46,000 miles, it's earned its wings.
It's also a handle that's always there, so I'll stick to it.

No pictures but I am thinking of repainting it, maybe even this winter. If I do, I'll take some. (Current paint is 1984 Ed Litton (Richmond, CA). Great job, but 30,000 miles and 4 moves have taken their toll. I'd go back to him in a flash if he were local.)
As I now live in Portland, I'll probably go to RAD Finishes.
