I don't know, and I'm not going to guess.

It stands to reason that the proportion of private automobiles would be largest in areas that have poor public transportation, bad conditions for cyclists and pedestrians, and public denial of basic scientific facts. The USA, Canada and Australia (for example) probably have a lot more private vehicles than service vehicles on their roadways.

IMO, we would be better off if there were fewer private cars. Do you agree?
