Thanks for the relies everyone! Just got around to working on the bike a little more. Got the 52T moved to the inside position on the crank, so now i'm looking at a 52T X 17T combo.. Need to pop the chain on this thing now, any suggestions for how to get the right length/tension? As far as the idea of switching to single speed, I like the idea of a simple-looking bike (though it doesn't seem much lighter to me!). This is my third bike (got a regular racing bike and mtb too), which will mostly be used for winter riding when riding super far doesn't seem too appealing, but this way, it is still possible to get a decent workout. Any help is appreciated!
