Hey guys, I have a Dolan Pre Cursa Frame and its corresponding Alpina Carbon Track Fork. I also have an integrated Alpina Headset. They all fit great together, but the Carbon fork doesn't have brake holes. I asked Dolan and they don't recommend me drilling holes brakes. So I really don't feel comfortable drilling brakes into the Carbon Fork.

I bought a cheap Pake Fork. The fork is 1 1/8". Now with the integrated Alpina headset, the Crown Race looks way too big for the Pake Fork. It pertrudes way too much. Did I buy the wrong Fork? What specifications was I supposed to look at? What should I do?
