I have two sets of TB14 wheelsets - great rim for retro builds - nice low rim height with benefit of box shape, wide (23mm width), excellent polished finish and the brake track machining is quite subtle avoiding the sharp corner/edge to the rim profile - more rounded on the edge like traditional rims.
By modern standards the down side is weight - about 500g/rim compared to Open Pro at around 450g these days. My set of 32H with White industries T11 hubs and revolutions weighs almost 1900g - compared to a contemporary alloy wheelset of 1400g to 1500g. High spoke counts definitely adds weight - even lightest contemporary spokes work out around 5g/spoke on the wheel - looking at a 28H build rather than 36H will save you almost 100g alone.
