Thanks! The rack didn't fit right (looks like it's meant for a full-size frame, whereas this is a youth road bike) and the shifters were from Suntour, so I don't think anything was lost from their removal

Agreed, but as [MENTION=196508]LeicaLad[/MENTION] pointed out in another thread, I think the challenge will be finding ones that fit the 24" wheels!
