The brakes are amazing, they will definitely send me flying over the handlebars if I hit grab too much front brake. I'd say they're pretty close in power to my Avid Elixir 1 brakes on my MTB (I have 180mm rotors on the MTB & 160mm rotors on this bike, so the brakes should be a bit stronger). I have no issues with the lever travel. These are the second generation HyRds with increased reservoir size, that might help but I'm not sure.



That's where the levers stop at full engagement.
