Agree with you, that's way over the top and not practical here. I've worked in western Washington in the heat of the summer and it's not even close to a south Texas summer day. Although I do sometimes wear a cycling cap as a sweatband under my helmut. I think I will try a Headsweats skullcap, that sounds like a good idea.
