but just like that those won't handle -40F as wind can go through a little.
By themselves, the only advantage they have vs other on the market is that they are roomy.
I've added aluminum foil in which increased warmth enormously and totally cut wind which makes that now wind has no impact on the warmth of the mitten.
I've also sewed on the thumb part another layer from an old glove that i had.
I've shorten the cuff, i found it too long for me (making the cuff shorter has allowed me to put mitts on and off without any hassle in a split of a second)
