Good to know. There is reportedly a greater water availability in the southern portion of the GDMBR in late spring, for south to north tourers. I have read conflicting accounts of the prevailing winds along the way, I guess it depends on fronts coming through. My own riding history indicates I will encounter a rotating headwind, so whichever way I turn....
