Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

The Park web site's description of the base says; "Holes for mounting to workbench or other surfaces for greater stability" (emphasis mine). So they have provided bolting holes but the implication is they aren't essential. I dunno, that base doesn't look that wide and I'd think bolts or a wider base plate like a piece of plywoood are good ideas.
