just a little trivia concerning the Masi 3V Volumetrica: in one of the videos and blogs that an American racer (that would be Rory mason, but read below) posted documenting Giovanni Pelizzoli (the originator of the Ciocc brand) he shows him a big box filled with the special headtubes and etc. for the 3Vs and tells the American that he (Pelizzoli) was responsible for building a
lot, if not all, of these as a contractor to Masi.
I'll try to track down the blog and update this so we don't have just my leaky memory to rely on.
