It has cooled off here it was right around either side of freezing this morning. With the cold and some frost in the air I decided to mount my new studded tires last night; schwalbe winters.
I don't think I need them but better safe and I wanted to break them in as instructed. So I took it easy on my way to work. I ran them at 60 psi in the front and 70psi in the rear. They felt fine I don't mind the hum. I kept getting a thump on the rear though, I passed it off as studs and maybe air pressure drop in the cold and the valve stem. Checked at work and a three inch section of bead wasn't seated! I didn't inflate them last night to full pressure and deflate and re-inflate then to desired pressure like I normally would. I got lucky. I'll get it remounted at lunch
In all it took about twenty minutes to do the swap in the dark and cool night. So I'll try and figure out what I want to do with them in regards to swapping them each weather change or keep them on for two months.
