In an odd twist of fate and chance occurance, I am selling my Schwinn Traveler tomorrow morning to a local fellow who will fit it's 63cm sized frame much better than I do. While I will miss this bike, I am getting a decent price for the frame (keeping most of the components as he is building it as a fixie) and will allow me to go in search of a better fitting frame.
As such I have decided to make some reassignments to what this bike is going to be built with. I have updated the build listing in the original post to reflect new plan. See if you can spot the changes.

As I've mentioned before, I bought a '79 or '80 Traveler new in high school, rode the thing for years as supplemental transportation, and after having moved on to other bikes, sold it at a yard sale back in the '80's or early '90's. Wish I had it back! But it did fit me, so there's a difference........This thing I've done with the '83 le tour, modernizing it and making it my primary rider as a sort of commuter/tourer, is kind of a return to my youth. I'm lovin' it! I'm glad you're keeping a lot of the parts off the Traveler, that way you're not totally giving it up-
