What apps do you use for following downloaded routes?

Hi there

so I have just moved to a new city (Madrid in Spain) and first thing I did was get myself a new road bike (any excuse for a new bike). Madrid is not exactly bike-friendly, there is a lot of traffic in central areas, few bike lanes and as in any big city it's quite easy to get lost if you don't know the place. So I thought I'd get myself a bike mount for my smartphone and use a navigation app. Obviously there is Google Maps (unfortunately no bike routing for Madrid yet) and I have been using Endomondo to track my cycling for a couple of years. I have also downloaded a bike navigation app called BikeCityGuide which looks quite good and offers offline-maps.

However, what I am mostly interested in is downloading routes from sites like WikiLoc and follow them. You can upload gpx-files to Endomondo but the process is a little involved and you only get a map view but no navigation.

What apps do you guys use for this sort of thing? Ideally I'd find an app that lets me upload gpx-files and offers proper turn-by-turn navigation. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Lars
