I will have to slightly disagree with you on this one -- i purchased a bigshot bike as my first SS/FG bike and it was a wonderful bike for the money. I easily put a thousand miles on this bike over the course of almost 2 years and the bike held up just fine. The only changes i made to the bike were to upgrade the chain to a KMC one, upgraded the pedals, changed the cog for gearing and added a flatbar from the original bullhorn that was selected. Customer service was ace as well when going through the ordering process.

Loved this bike and actually just sold it to a friend who uses it everyday here in SF.
