My wife and I made a few tours this year, some short.
First, we rode the Denali Highway (gravel wilds ride) and continued on paved Highways back home for a week long trip self supported trip. Lots of wildlife on this trip with rough roads and no flats.
Next we took the ferry from Whittier, Alaska to Bellingham, Wa with touring bikes. We then rode to Seattle with one overnight. The 3 day ferry trip was spectacular with wildlife galore and over a hundered Laysan Albatross spotted. My pics are somewhere, but I can't find them this instant.
Then, we traveled by ferry to Kodiak Island with touring bikes and rode out to the end of the road around the island. We stayed overnight in a cabin on the water and rode back the next day.
Lastly, we are planning a self supported trip for next June from Seattle, Wa to Whitehorse, Yukon via the Cassier Highway. Roughly 1900 miles, can't wait.
