I did agree to the 60 min test. He said that was best, so I was game. Then he took pity, said he felt badly asking me for the 60 min test, lets just compromise and go for the 40 min test. Honestly it was a totally fine ride, harder than I usually do, but it was still pretty fun. I'm almost always saving something for later in the ride, it was kind of straightforward to just ride "as hard as you think you can for 40 min." It still being an enjoyable ride is why I assumed I had done it wrong. I guess now I don't know what to make of these "suffering" comments. What, are the rest of y'all just a bunch of big babies?!
