I weighed more last July than I thought was possible for me, so I got back into biking. So far I am down 44 pounds and feel great. My cardio is way better than it has been in years. I am 16 pounds away from my initial goal of losing 60 pounds. Everyone asks what I am doing, but it is fairly simple, eat less exercise more. I have only eliminated Diet Coke and candy/cake. Research shows that logging food is an extremely high predictor of success, and I agree. I frequently, in the beginning, thought about---I would need to exercise an extra 2 hours for something I would enjoy for two minutes-- that helped to make better choices.
