I run Yokozuna Reaction cable/housing kits on all of my bikes, and they are definitely better than the generic cables/housing that comes stock on most bikes. The brake housing is nearly compresisonless, and really improved both lever feel and stopping power on my road bike. The shift housing is "jet lubed", and definitely improved shifting performance as well. The kit costs about $55. They are definitely a nice upgrade for any bike.
