* Shimano 10 speed Mountain rear derailleurs won't work with Shimano 10 speed Road shifters.

What chainrings are you using?
Is your front derailleur top pull or bottom pull?

So I have a Shimano Deore LX crank 44/32/22. I believe it is a bottom pull front derailleur, Deore LX clamp on. Do you think that will work with the 105 shifters? I was reading more into the forum you posted but it was hard to gather if it would work or not. It sounded like you need a bottom pull derailleur with the correct size chainrings. Since I know my current derailleur works with my current chain rings, I think they will work. But I dont know.

I am going to buy a 9 speed rear derailleur though instead of trying to use adapters to get the current one to work.
