I did a 60mm stem once. I would not recommend it as it made by bike very twitchy on descents. Have you considered going to a 90mm stem with a zero setback seat post?
I don't have enough cash at the moment to do both, but a 60mm is not a concern for descents because there are barely any where I live. My area of Southeastern Michigan is very flat.
