Ha! I do tend to repeat myself regarding this bike. As AZORCH pointed out in his post, the tire/fender clearance thing probably pertains to most of the Internationals/Competitions (and the Super Tourer) from the early 1970's until about 1977. I think that is when Raleigh went with more race oriented geometries and clearances.
