I have to agree. Heard from my pal, and after putting around 1700 miles on it, he found a NOS set of original equipment Super Champion tubulars, and has since broken it down and sent it for a repaint and new decals. As is often the case, paint was way rougher than it appeared in the photo. He's a former racer (and I'm most definitely not), and it has found a good home with him. I think he hopes to ride it in
BSG next year. He's got the horses to hammer that 42/52 here in the mountains.
