Bikes: 2015 Womens CAAD10 5 (now a 1-by SRAM system)

Just ordered my CAAD10 (Women's 105, 44cm, in white) to be shipped in to my LBS so I can pick it up next time I come home from school down in SoCal. Loved the way the testers handled (rode a 51cm CAAD10 and a 44cm Synapse with a longer stem), but as always, my major issue with Cannondale is their women's bike colours.

The grey CAAD10 for women looks like someone threw up on it, and the white has glittery grey accents. I thought that once I joined a sport I'd be rid of the women-need-sparkles-and-pink line of thought, but apparently not. I love the green/white/black team colour CAAD10 to bits, but I don't fit the men's geometry.

Of course I can get it painted, but the point still stands. Out of the eight women's road bike models Cannondale carries, only the Evo in white/black is even mildly aesthetically pleasing colour-wise. The men's bikes? Almost all of them I would classify as 'hot'. Or at least decent-looking. Do they think women have some sort of widespread eye condition? Are they using women's frames as a way to get rid of excess paint? I don't like to add however many hundred dollars to the asking price for a paint job on a bike whose male counterpart looks gorgeous. Like, look:

Sorry, I just needed to vent about this. I know I will love the way my new bike rides, and that's the most important thing of all.
