Why can't you return it? Does the slice go through the cords or is it just on the surface?
The company I bought it from is taking care of me and has supposedly already shipped a replacement,.. but I figured I'd ask,..it's simply the idea of having a usable spare around appealed to me. That's all.
Slice goes in approx. 1/8" at one point,...doesn't hit the cords though as I'm looking at it.
