I'm not into Bridgestones, and to me your repainted bike isn't worth $100. You destroyed any value with your rattlecan paint job. Personally I would not buy it at any price. The honest value at this point would be the value of the components/group (frame and fork have no value).
That's pretty harsh, but sometimes the truth hurts. FWIW, I repainted the bike when it was a few years old (not recently in order to sell it) due to rust; I never intended to sell it. When I took it in to have it disassembled, I bought an RB-1 for some unknown reason and later alternated riding the 1 and 2. I wouldn't be selling it now, and haven't listed it, except that a friend asked me if I would consider selling it so he can convert to a fixie. As for suspicion, well, one only has my word that it is a Bridgestone at all. As for the paint, Rustoleum is a good product and 20+ years after my 'rattlecan' project, there is no trace of rust. When I brought the frame back to the bike shop for re-assembly, the owner said he was kind of impressed, expecting a catastrophe, I guess. I do appreciate your valuation of the bike, which is what I asked for. I will try to get a better picture posted.
