What's a "jersey?"
technically 1) one of the Channel Islands British but off the coast Of France ...
was famous for its knitting trade in medieval times, and because of that original fame, the name jersey is still applied to many forms of knitted fabric
So: 2) a Knit Fabric ,, T shirts use a Cotton Jersey


Modern Polyesters get their colors by Printing it on .. Sublimation the Inks are turned to a Gas , so have no finished change in the fabric Hand .. [feel]
