Mines doesn't spin as freely without the chain, like a tub-load of grease is dragging it down. It even feels like an effort rotating the crankset backwards with the chain on - does it even roll on ball bearings?! Maybe it's not "broken in" yet, but just want to know what others think of these cranks as well. Thanks.
Suppose that is a function of the BB, and not the cranks at all?? Some cheap BB are so bad they shouldn't even be stuck in a frame. Sugino has been around for years. Others including Ritchey have put their label on Sugino products.
