My Vanilla got an upgrade. How do you upgrade a Vanilla you might ask? Change out the Avid BB7s for mechanically actuated hydraulic brakes from TRP! Not only do they look WAY cooler but they stop even better with much smoother modulation than the Avids.

They were extremely easy to set up (after noodling with many mechanical discs recently) and bedded in a 30 mile ride. The best part? That annoying disc rubbing I could never adjust out or fix by trueing the disc is finally gone! Love 'em!
