I put a wind jacket on mid 40s, full jacket below 40. I don't think that's weird.

Wonder how you would react to the weekday hard morning rides in the summer. They start at 0530, so I leave my house to ride there at 0430 when it's already low 90s. When I get home at 8, it's usually about 100 degrees.
