One thing I'm considering is a "sunscreen base layer", a long sleeve base layer meant to be a UV protection layer.
A good friend (he brought Bethel up a level about 10 years ago using his own resources/knowledge/time and helped run the races until he moved away) said that he's starting to ride with such a base layer. He's actually chilly on the cooler days, comfortable on the hot days. He had some skin things removed and so it made him more aware of skin damage, UV rays, stuff like that.
I think my three days of training has messed up my dieting. I've been plateaued on weight, and I know I want to lose at least 10 more pounds. Therefore it's back to dieting hard and worry about riding when opportunity presents itself.
