Questions regarding a coaster brake
I picked up a first generation Dahon folder a while back - while its in good condition and cleaned up nicely, I'm not happy with the coaster brake operation.
You have to back-pedal about 180 degrees around before the coaster brake bites. At that point, it works fine, easily locking the back wheel. Any suggestions regarding adjusting it out? Its been a good forty years since I last tore in to one of these hubs, and figured I'd better ask a bit of advice before starting any dis-assembly.
Amazing what one can forget over the years.
