I have a Calfee Tetra and weigh 200 lbs. There is absolutely no problem with my weight. No flex or rub even when running the smallest front and largest rear or vice versa. Zero. Every time I mount it I feel like this bike was made for big boys.
I hit a pot hole one day going downhill about 30 mph. The jolt was brutal. I went over the handlebars and managed to walk away without much more than a few bruises and broken self-esteem. The bike suffered a few scratches along with bent handlebars but, no structual damage at all. Not even the rims or tires were damaged (Mavic CXP 33).
I have every reason to believe that most other carbon bikes do fine with rider weights of 200 lb and even greater too. But, it's probably best to consult the manufacturer. If there is any uncertainty then look elsewhere. There are too many other quality carbon bikes on the market and given their expense, you should not make a purchase until you have full assurance of the performance expectations.
