Very possible, also, I went back and looked at some of those other "1983" catalog pages online and compared them to the full 1983 and 1984 catalogs. I believe they have been mislabeled and are actually from the 1984 catalog. Then again, how many times have we seen the bikes that were actually sold vary from the catalogs and brochures? More than I can count. Regardless, they're nice riding bikes that are under appreciated. I drove 30 miles to get mine and paid a premium for it with no regrets and I'd do it again.
