Yes, I know about the ground bivy part - I'd rather not have to rig my hammock as a bivy/bug shield.

inre: hammockforums, lots of those folks are into the 'arts and crafts' aspect, and the weekend camp/cook stuff, but a decided minority do any real lightweight backpacking/travelling. At least that was my experience from attending a couple of hangs. ymmv.
