For me, right now, it is the only premium item I am remotely interested in and I am not willing to pay for it.
However, I was especially impressed with its gps tracking of my route. GPS accuracy with apps is hard to find for me living in China but Strava was great. So I have started to hunt for a phone mount and will likely use that as my main bike computer for at least the foreseeable future. That is until I can afford a nice Garmin Edge but that could be a while off.
The wife is getting a bit put off at the recent bike related expenditures. LOL. She never says anything but when I say, "Hey I just bought [fill in the blank] for the bike" she gets eerily silent. I have tried to explain to her that it is all about the bike but she doesn't share my enthusiasm.
Yea I can relate to the wife unit eye rolls about the $$$ involved :-).
I used the strava premium stuff in the summer, but I dropped it for the winter months, not sure if I really "need" those features or not. I have not went into convulsions without them :-). I kinda figured I would use Trainerroad in the winter and Strava in the summer, but I have actually been able to ride outside way more than I had expected.
