Actually, the names aren't identical. One might be XYZ St. and the other one XYZ St. N.E. It's easy to confuse the two on a map if they're close to each other in the same quadrant of town. They should have called one of them Daisy St. or something. Considering D.C. used to be the murder capital of the country, you would think the city would make every effort to keep some tourist from getting confused and ending up in a bad section of town.
