Hmmm... So, what is "interesting".

I picked this up recently for an "outrageous price".

700c narrow single walled Weinmann alloy rim laced to an old Campy high flange hub and original 5 speed 14/24 cluster.

I haven't figured out what to do with it yet. It could use some cleaning, but it isn't in too bad of shape. Oh, and I can't find a seam either.



I'm not sure how common they are. From that era, at least in the USA, a lot of the rims were steel 27" rims. Racing bikes, of course, had sewups. And, by the 80's, the double walled rims had really taken over, at least with the narrower wheels.
