advice needed for setting up Shimano hydraulic with inline disconnects

Hi,

My project is to install a Shimano hydraulic road rear brake (Di2 r785 disc brakes), routing the hose internally in a coupled bike (tandem). I would like to have a quick connect at the mid point where it will allow me to disassemble the bike frame and not lose brake fluid or require a re-bleed upon every reassembly, or require replacing connection components (ie: olives, washer seals, etc).

To install the hose through small port holes in the frame, the hose ends would need to have either very small connectors on one end, or nothing at all (bare hose end). Once installed, the quick connect would be located within the coupled bottom tube, and would need some 5cm extra hose slack at that mid point to allow for frame assemble/disassemble. The point where I would like the disconnect to reside is at some 1200mm from the front lever and 1200mm from the rear caliper.

My preference might be to stick with all Shimano bits if possible, however if there are other mfr parts that would work better in this setup then I am all ears. I've read a little on the Formula Speedlock, but I'm not sure if this junction can be customized to my required break point or if it can be used with Shimano brake fluid (mineral oil) as Formula uses DOT fluid.

I would appreciate some pointers to how my idea could be implemented.
